This small, versatile bowl can be used as a fruit bowl, planter, candle holder or any way your heart desires! Each is entirely handcrafted and signed by the artist. The process begins by chalking the design onto a flattened recycled metal barrel and then is cut out with a hammer and chisel. By finely pounding in the detail cuts, dots and shapes the Sunflower bowl takes life.The artist then bends the flowers around the base and rivets the edges together to give the bowl its shape. A wonderful innovation in the folk art tradition of Haitian metal sculpture. Size 60 cm.
