As a painter of nesting dolls, I highly recommend this nesting doll. These dolls are hand-carved in Russia and are very well made. They fit together nicely and are smooth and well polished.

very clean and well polished wood. It DOSE soak up a LOT of paint. I had to put a lot of coats of pain on them. I used an acrlic paint and plan to shalack them.
